Belgrade and Budapest will establish a Strategic Council on Security and Counter-Terrorism. This was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in an interview with TV Pink.

“The creation [by Serbia and Hungary] of the Strategic Council will allow us to cooperate more effectively on security issues and the fight against terrorism,” he said.

Vucic explained that the creation of such a structure will allow countries to cooperate at the level of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. In this regard, a summit meeting will be held. According to the President of Serbia, the head of Hungary Katalin Novak and members of the governments of the two countries will take part in it. The event is expected to take place in May in Belgrade or Novi Sad.

Earlier , Vučić said that the EU would be forced to start negotiations on Ukraine’s accession this summer . According to him, a special pro-American bloc in the European Union will be Poland, the Baltic countries and Ukraine.
