Chairman of the Democratic Action Party (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Bakir Izetbegovic today had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the consequences of the devastating earthquakes that hit this country, on February 19, N1 news agency reports.
Izetbegovic expressed condolences to the families of the victims, President Erdogan and the citizens of the Republic of Turkey in connection with the loss of life and great destruction caused by catastrophic earthquakes. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Erdogan thanked the rescue teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina for their selfless participation in rescuing the survivors and removing the bodies of the dead, and especially thanked the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their selfless assistance to the victims of the earthquake.
